About this project:

Help send MFA students to the internationally renowned and transformative Penland School of Crafts via their Education Partner's Program. We only pay half! $1,660 plus $350 to help offset travel.

Every student we have sent in previous years comes back to UD more accomplished, confident, and with a broadened understanding of their craft and professional practices. Time at Peland also extends their professional networks and deepens their appreciation of the work of creative communities.  

How your support makes a difference!

Your donations help us to be able to sustain our relationship with Penland, and--should we not win the scholarship lottery--to be able to send a student even without Penland's help. We hate it when deserving applicants have to be told "no" just because we did not win the lotter that year.
