Master of Fine Arts: Penland School of Crafts

About this Project

Help send MFA students to the internationally renowned and transformative Penland School of Crafts via their Education Partner's Program. We only pay half of the $1,660 plus $350 to help offset travel.

Every student we have sent in previous years comes back to UD more accomplished, confident and with a broadened understanding of their craft and professional practices. Time at Penland also extends their professional networks and deepens their appreciation of the work of creative communities.  

How your support makes a difference!

Your donation will help us sustain our relationship with Penland as well as provide the resources to send a student even if we do not win Penland's scholarship lottery. This ensures that deserving applicants can attend regardless of Penland's support.

Gifts may be used as general support for the Department of Art and Design.
